Ping Shan Heritage Trail (continued)

Here are a few more photos of the Ping Shan Heritage Trail.  The trail took us to various historical buildings that were integral to village life when Yuen Long was still basically a market town for the surrounding villages and farmers.

The Hung Shing temple was both a place of worship as well as a gathering place for the community on festive occasions.  A school was located here in addition to guest quarters for important visitors and scholars.
