Train Market items for sale

The train market is approximately 90 minutes drive from Bangkok. Although this is supposedly the low season and therefore not as crowded, the market was still quite crowded and frenetic. I would hate to be here during high season when the crowds are even bigger.  Here are some photos of some of the items for sale at the market.

I could not communicate with the vendor but
the items appear to be eels for sale

Teri and Pat looking at some of the wares for sale

A variety of crustaceans for sale, small crabs and what not

Fish for sale.  There is absolutely no refrigeration
at the market so buy your fish early.

Skewers of meat, roast pig, and other assorted meats

These spiny objects are fruit.  You crack them open, take
out what appears to be a lichee with a seed.
The fruit is very sweet and easy to eat.
